If you happen to be a mother of a toddler daughter, I do have to say tonight, I envy you just the slightest. I am after all a momma of two boys and slightly partial. After Today's Daily Swank I just want to at least "think" about the possibility of another one... possibly a girl...ahem.
Once again I am amazed at the things you can find on Etsy. I landed on this shop Kinchi awhile ago and had it saved for such an occasion as this. "The stuff you buy when your a mum of the seventies" that's the clever tagline of this shop. Every garment in this shop is dripping with color and originality you'll want to buy everything you see. The first dress is a Irish Teatowel Dress. This is made from a vintage perfectly preserved tea towel from the seventies. Flip it over to the back and it's new fabric with pieces of the the tea towel.
If that dress doesn't send you head over heels than this adorable Pretty Bird Skirt and Top Set will. Composed by hand as all of them are, this outfit contains 3 vintage elements. The bird skirt is made of a bird tablecloth, a brand new original seventies sheet and a vintage pillowcase. The shirt showcases a matching appliqué of the bird from the table cloth. Isn't it adorable!
So I had to include something for the fellas too! This v-neck Veggie Power tee is just too cute. It's embellished with veggies from a vintage seventies hand towel.
My favorite part about this indie shop is that, the designer & creator is also a momma. She takes pride in providing you with quality handmade items, paying special attention to all the right details. Catch more of her exclusive patterns and treat your darling sweeties to a little vintage at Kinchi.
