If you are an avid thrifter, antique shopper and yard-saler than you know that a perfect shopping day doesn't start without a perfectly brewed cup of joe or a sip of tea. Most of us are up and out early in the morning before the sun comes up hoping to score the next perfect find.

Welcome to a new feature on Vintage Indie the VI Café! As much as I love vintage & indie combined I love indie, family owned coffee, tea and specialty shops. I hope to share some new and fabulous indie shops with you to help you start off the perfect Vintage Indie day each month during my VI Café features.

My family owns an tea room in Indiana. It is based on the southern tea room traditions and is an absolute joy to work in. I have the opportunity to meet so many lovely ladies and the best part for me is watching multi-generational families meet for lunch and tea.
