What is your shop   address?      512 Village Circle (in Pine Mountain Village), Eureka Springs,   Arkansas    72632

What kind of store is   Feather Your Nest?   Feather Your   Nest features vintage and vintage-inspired home and garden decor and   accessories.   We also have lots of great gifts and   treats:  candles, lotions, soaps, jewelry, oilcloth   bags, cards, kids & baby, and   more.

Our red & white kitchen area.  The Eat Sign is made by an Amish   man.  We're often sold out for weeks because they certainly do things on   their own time!)

2 Do you hold any   special events at your store?
Because we   are located in a tourist resort, the majority of our customer base lives   outside of the area.  So Feather Your Nest does not do special   events alone.    We are located in a Victorian-themed shopping   village and as a whole we have in the past and plan to put on events such   as  Victorian Fair, Ice Cream Social, Sidewalk Sale (to coincide with   city-wide yard sale weekend), and Christmas shopping   events.

Is   shopping indie and small businesses important to you? If so,   why?
Absolutely!    Besides feeling like a total   hypocrite for not reciprocating by shopping with other indie businesses,   I just know that I'm going to have a better experience every time.      The quality of products and the customer service are always exceedingly   higher with an indie/small   business.

This is one of my favorite displays.  Our Good Home Co.   and Sweetgrass Farms laundry products displayed on an old wooden ironing board   we found.)

Anything else you   would like to add?   In February 2008   we were honored to have our store featured in the "Shopkeeping" feature   of Romantic Homes magazine and in November 2005 our online store was listed in   the "Best of the Web" section of InStyle magazine.  We've also had   numerous products featured in national magazines and prominent   web sites.
