We've been home with our little bundle of joy now for a couple of weeks (more on her soon) and we're starting to get the hang of things, including nightly breast feedings. During my research for night lamps, and the perfect accessories for the nursery, I came across Solay Wellness Salt Crystal Lamps.
Himalayan Salt Lamps are something unique, as well as a beautiful conversation piece for any room.
"All organic matter resonates at a certain frequency. Their natural resonance frequency makes our medium-size Solay Himalayan Crystal Salt lamps ideal for neutralizing EMFs (electromagnetic fields) in your workspace while filling your room with healthy, ion-charged air." - Solay Wellness
You may not realize it but the electronics in your bedroom, alarm clock, iphone, cordless phone, television, computer etc. all produce electromagnetic fields in the room that they are in. These are not ideal for sleeping. To aid in cleaning the air and creating a restful night's sleep it is said that these salt lamps; freshen and ionize air,aid for modern ills, can help mitigate EMF fields. With baby in our room, it gives me piece of mind since we do sleep with an alarm clock close by.
My favorite part about this salt lamp is the warm glow it gives to the room. When nursing time strikes in the middle of the night, the dimmer is a perfect addition to the salt lamp. It creates the perfect amount of light to see baby girl to change her diaper and to nurse peacefully. I think my husband also appreciates the lamp when he's trying to get his beauty rest during our nightly feedings.
