We're finally coming out of our stomach flu stupor here at the VI house and we're getting back to schoolwork today starting with President's Day. My children absolutely love history. It is something amazing to watch two fidgety little boys sit and watch documentaries and discuss with each other what they're watching.
Today we're watching The Ultimate Guide to President's from the History Channel. Have you seen this series?
America's unique form of democracy separates power among three branches of government: the legislative, judicial and executive. As the head of the executive branch, the president of the United States is the country's most visible and important leader, both at home and abroad. Join HISTORY for a fresh perspective on how the Oval Office has evolved over the past 200 years through stories about the 43 men who have served as commander-in-chief. This eight-hour miniseries concentrates on the ebbs and flows of presidential power and responsibilities as each of America's leaders deal with the events, expectations and challenges of his time.

If you don't have cable television, no problem. You can watch full length videos online at the History Channel.
We also like to watch the Liberty Kids which you can find full length episodes on YouTube or Netflix.

Art for everyone can provoke different feelings and emotions. When I stumbled across Tush Tush, the art brought many smiles to my heart. Many of these images depict children and happier childhood times. These are the things I like to get lost in.
What about you?
