The Midwest Homeschool Convention is weeks away and your children will want to go to the Children's Conference! I know what you're thinking, I'd love to, but I just can't. I don't know what to expect. Will my kids have fun? Will I be worrying about them the whole time? Will they get bored? Will they miss me? I'm here to tell you that not only do my kids beg to go every year but I look forward to dropping them off. I know, hard to believe right?
The first year I was nervous as many of you are I'm sure. Let's face it; it is a lot of kids. After the first day, my nerves calmed a bit and my kids were begging to skip lunch just so they could go back, even my youngest who was very weary to go at first. The truth is, they had that much fun.
The program is very well organized including safe procedures for dropping off and picking up your children. They sing, craft, watch plays and spend some time in bouncy houses. Overall, it is an excellent program for the kids so that you can fully concentrate on important parenting and home educating issues.
Children's Conference International is a sponsor of ours, but everything above is completely true and was not paid for. We support this program and have truly grown to really appreciate it over the years.
Register soon as spots will fill up fast! They've sold out spaces in previous years. As an added bonus they've added Thursday evening to the kids program, which has not been offered in the past, but you can choose to only select Friday and Saturday if you wish.
