It has been awhile since I've mentioned the Indie Wedding Guide & Directory. March is the celebrated Indie Weddings Month founded two years ago and heading into its third year March 2010.

Each month we welcome new vendors/sponsors in our directory throughout the year. I thought it would be a great idea to start letting you know about them here. These vendors also sponsors place their business in our exclusive directory. All businesses must be approved to fit our guidelines to better serve you. A lot of times our vendors carry other items in their stores than wedding gear, so I'm hoping you'll take a moment to visit their links.

Indie Wedding Guide - March 2009 Indie Weddings Month Celebration

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Indie Wedding Guide we are the founders and creators of Indie Weddings Month, a month long celebration in March each year. Since its launch March 2008, it has become the best source for brides to turn to when looking to minimize waste and create their wedding with the idea of using indie designers, a do it yourself attitude and those famous three R's: reuse, recycle and reduce.

During the off months Jan-Feb & April-December it serves as an exclusive directory for application approved businesses. We are serious about the quality of products, customer service that is offered from each of the vendors and hold them to the highest of standards. You can also visit the archives for a slew of projects, products and past vendors during the off months.

Are you getting married next year or planning a wedding for the future? Are you an independent business who specializes in handmade wedding items, offers wedding services or vintage wedding related items? Get ready for the Indie Weddings Month Celebration in March 2009!

 We've been hard at work preparing for the annual March Indie Weddings Month celebration.
