If you look for the green arrow in the picture below it shows you where you can find new gadget.
It is very easy to join in the fun. All you need to do is click the button " join this site" and follow the prompts. If you have a google or gmail account it is easy as pumpkin pie. You'll also have the option to invite your friends to join. After joining you can click the box again to visit other readers/members of Vintage Indie. My cup is overflowing. I've been engulfed in motherhood, soaking in precious hours with my children and holding them tighter. Maybe it's because of the weather change or maybe it is because my first born is a year older this week but I'm full. I'm full of life, joy and what I think my purpose is for the time being.
Vintage Indie is a love and a passion of mine, but slowing the pace down is something I need to do for my family. If you notice posts getting lighter it is for a good reason. I appreciate all of my readers for taking time out of your day to come and visit me. At this time, my highest readership numbers of all time continues to grow daily and I felt it was important to let you know my heart and what was going on. Just in case you were wondering.

Angelia of the Red Thread Studio emailed me a couple of days ago with some sad news. (I'm sorry Angelia, I should have posted this sooner for you) The old building next to their studio burned down due to an electrical problem. Angelia is having problems with the insurance company per her last blog post. She writes, " they do no consider hand craft to have much value".
I can understand her frustration, but most importantly the need for the community to help.
If you can donate or help in any way, there has been a site set up with full details save the thread.

Please help me welcome the lovely and talented Starr Keller to Vintage Indie. She will be joining us all month long for special features. Starr Keller is the owner . designer of the unique and upcycled vintage pretties at Starr Strung Jewelry Designs. The Indiana-based business has grown since Starr started making jewelry with borrowed tools in 2004. This very same year, Starr graduated college with a degree in Journalism, had her son, Jonah, and began work as an editor for AntiqueWeek.
In April, Starr took a leap of faith backed with her divine love of all things vintage, and began to focus Starr Strung as a set-apart-from-the-rest jewelry boutique. Did you miss Making the Most of Monday yesterday? I'm sorry, I truly am. I've just been a busy bee and have been trying to figure out where July went. Most of you know I love to change Vintage Indie up from time to time, change is good for the heart. This time, I went with a slightly more feminine feel.
I have to say that I've been working with one of the most lovely designers on the face of the planet. Renee Thompson of Thompson Designs has been a DREAM to work with. Talk about patience! I'm somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to the looks of things around here and she truly captured what I was going for.
Renee is also an artist and has some beautiful artwork in her Etsy shop.
