This summer we've had the privilege of visiting a friend who owns a lovely piece of property and lots of chickens and a beautiful garden. In our minds it is a lovely little getaway when we are invited and my children enjoy chasing the chickens and collecting eggs. I'm sure to them it is a lot of work and I know that it is. Keeping chickens, raising a family garden. There is much work to do. We respect our time there and the enjoyment we get out of it.
