Vintage Hot Spots & Around Your Town

We want to know what is going on in your town? Do you have a festival, a vintage/antique show? A special event that Vintage Indie readers may be interested in? Please send your submissions and get your town noticed!

This is The Vintage House in Overland Park Kansas! It is a spectacular little event space for bridal showers, weddings, children's parties, baby showers and so much more! They're in the midst of a renovation and would love to have you stop by. Find them at #6 on the Local Life 3rd Fridays Map below.

LocalLifeMapLocal Life 3rd Fridays in Historic Downtown Overland Park is fast becoming a regular highlight in the region. Local merchants and businesses open their doors, offer special deals and create unique events that show off just what Downtown OP has to offer. More businesses feature special events on those nights. More people are in the street. More artists are performing, cooking, playing music and displaying their work throughout.

And the Story Begins: Furniture with a new story to tell.

Things are going to start picking back up here at Vintage Indie. Now that we're getting settled into our new place, and learning what is like to live in a 89 year old farm house. We are enjoying the charm and wide open space here.

Today, I'd like to introduce you to And the Story Begins. Local to Northern Kentucky; furniture artist Holly Carpenter, is creating new stories for once disregarded furniture.
